Bio
I often paint in improvised spaces or the outdoors, painting furiously until the sun no
longer allows it. Using big brush strokes, thick paint, and vibrant colors, I try not to take life too
seriously but I simultaneously recognize that the ordinary is extraordinary.
I aim to experience the sensory and visual without the filter of language. What does this
moment, person or object hold without a name? By abstracting and deconstructing representation
I am taking away the singularity of person and object and relating it to the whole to create a
unified visual field and recognizing the interconnectedness of all things.
